Digital Transformation Consulting and Solutions began as a side project for the founder, who was pursuing a medical degree and wanted to supplement her income through affiliate marketing.
As a single mother, our founder struggled a lot, despite having an amazing career in the Army. She simply wasn't able to make ends meet on one income alone. So, in 2011, she requested a leave of absence, which was approved, to go to medical school. She quickly discovered, that it was even harder to sustain her children as a student. Living in a country where she had no family and no friends, she felt very alone in her struggle. The class load was overwhelming, as was the cost of living. She later remarried and a year after that, was honorably discharged from the Army in 2015. These events helped to ease her struggle somewhat, but she had begun to split her semesters to reduce the class load and better focus. Finishing school was going to take longer than anticipated.
In the summer of 2020, during the COVID pandemic, she wanted to supplement her income while finishing school. It started with affiliate marketing. Within a year, it quickly evolved into coaching. That only lasted a few months, because the clients she was working with began to hire her to create websites, sales funnels, and graphics. These are skills she had developed on her own over the previous year. Then, in the summer of 2021, a life changing event forced her quit medical school and dive deeper into digital marketing. She
finally registered the company that year and began to advertise as a digital marketing company. As she built websites for clients, she received several requests for mobile apps. That sparked an interest in software development. She spent 6 months in 2022 learning how to code mobile apps. Then she thought, why not make the switch and become a software company? It turns out, that the market was going through a transition. More and more entrepreneurs were looking for options that didn't require code. So, she decided to stick with digital marketing with a renewed motivation, new skills, and experience to offer the best service possible and an awesome client experience.
